I'm glad this story reminded you of the style of the show. One of my goals in writing this was to pattern it after the show itself, complete with multiple inter-woven storylines and pesky cliffhangers. I loved the first season of Heroes, and as I started to become a little frustrated by some of the season two storylines, it only inspired me to avoid the same pitfalls with my story. So ultimately I think I benefited from the writers' woes this season! I'm glad the characters matched with your mental image of the show-- there's nothing like hearing dialogue in the actor's voice (or as you said, seeing their faces in the scenes) to make it come to life.
