Blee! First of all, thanks for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. It makes my day to see a comment like this sitting in my inbox. Sorry it's taken me forever to respond.
But yes, I hadn't given much thought to the Nathan/Peter and Dean/Sam parallels until one day I just sort of scrawled down a scene of Nathan and Dean confronting each other about their missing brothers. From there the plot bunnies started running wild with conjecture about how the brothers might be thrown together on a case, how they'd totally jump each others bones, and "Huh, you sleep with your brother too? Neat!" The two sets of bros are just a goldmine of plot possibilities waiting to happen, I tell ya!
It's funny actually that Sam and Nathan and Dean and Peter ended up together, because for a long time I went back and forth on who should be paired up. But then really I thought that Sam and Peter might kill each other, and Nathan and Dean might kill each other too, so it had to go this way. Peter and Sam each need a big brother looking out for them.
I'm glad you warmed up to the Petrelli relationship (dude, they are SO all over each other in canon). I'm glad it wasn't dumb. :) And I always like to hear that humor has put computer screens in peril of being spat upon. Yay! I'm so very happy that you found the story and enjoyed it, and thank you again for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment!
