I don't mind the character of Arthur; in fact I was really excited to see how they would use him. However, I agree that the way they've written him as an uber-villain is ridiculous. How can he just stop everyone so easily all the time? Isn't there supposed to be struggle? Aren't the good guys supposed to have small victories? Suspense? Character development? Aren't we supposed to love to hate Arthur (as we did Bob), rather than just hate him?
