Nathan has to get off on it and feel like a bad person b/c of it. Arthur can (but doesn't have to) make Nathan think about Peter while it's happening. Oh, geez, it's like my birthday! And all I had to do was feel like crap on toast! :) Oh, threatening to tell or invite others to enjoy Nathan is a plus:)
