Yay Russian cups! They're a must-have, I swear. I'm glad you liked the characterization. Drunken officers are fun to write! After drunk!Kirk's line in the bar ("You can whistle really loud!") I just wanted to write more ridiculous dialogue for him. Silly kid. So glad you enjoyed!
