Ah, what a great sequel. The change of perspective kinda skewed things for me for a sec, because after reading the first part I was under the impression that the relationship was not entirely consensual. In this story, McCoy either has some disillusionment or doesn't realize that Kirk views him as a toy. I like that Kirk realizes how special Bones is by the end!
