It's really a question of what is more retarded - the magic blood itself, or making all the characters forget it exists. Bah. They're damned either way.
I love how this will be played out in fanfic because you really could have Nathan in there somehow, a part of his soul, and an MPD relationship occur between the two of them.
But in canon it kind of sucks. =/
Ugh. I think I'm just gonna hold most of my judgement till season four though. Who knows? It could be interesting. Maybe.
*confused* who's the second... or are you refering to the fact that they killed one in actual and then killed the other in theory?
Wouldn't he be able to heal his mind though?
and what about all of Sylar's other abilities? like hearing the truth or subsonic sounds? wouldn't those be active all the time?
Do you think Claire could only have fixed it if he hadn't been exsanguinated or if he wasn't really dead maybe noah was just comatose from the bullet and not dead?? idontknow. They need something to come bite them in the arse... the show confuses the f*ck out of me. But I'm so addicted!
too many discontinuities... but OH MY GOD I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT SEASON TO START ALREADY!!
Oh, sweetie. I'm so sorry. I left some internet love on trekker's lj earlier, but I didn't see your reaction post until just now. I'm sending a big hug your way: I know what a huge Nathan fan you are.
As, of course, am I. However, I'm actually OK with the way things played out. Not happy, of course, but kind of relieved. I've explained why on trekker's lj, and how I bought into the whole thing, but I'll give you the short version:
1: I'm a sucker. This is a fact. 2: I'll take Adrian Pasdar any way I can have him. And he seems to be excited about this new direction. Related to 2 is number 3: Adrian sold it. The subtle yet discernable difference between Nathan and Sylar!Nathan was beautifully done. And the Nathan we had at the end was Nathan. Not Sylar!Nathan. That's what he believes, and I do too. I don't believe in souls, or spirits, I believe our memories and experiences and relationships make us what we are. And I think this Nathan will be heartbroken when he eventually realises what sort of a man he used to be, and will fight back against Sylar's re-emergence. And he'll win. 4: Did I mention I'm a sucker?
This is my version of reality, and I'm sticking to it. But I have a huge amount of understanding and sympathy for those who haven't bought into it. I'm thinking of you! *sends more hugs*

I kept whining "No, no, no, EW!" throughout the last five or six minutes.
*shudders*
*weeps*

Oh GOD.
EDIT: I haven't seen it, but all I can think is that they 'killed off' Nathan in the season one and two finale as well...
