RITUAL?! I love Ritual. mystery_sock's fic is just so smoking hot... Guh. Yeah, that's porny Petrellicest at its best right there. I didn't know I converted you! I feel special now. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but being the angst addict that I am, I just can't escape the attraction of two brothers who are sodirtybadwrongyetright.
Plot is pretty important to me. The Heroes plot (at least the first season, grrr) was so wonderfully twisty that I was just trying to live up to what the real writers do. I've only watched through Season One twice, but I have the DVDs and the Amazon Unbox files of Season Two, so I'll often re-watch specific scenes in which a character does something that echoes what they're doing in my story. For instance, for the Nathan/Elle helicopter scene I went back and watched Elle's scenes from "Four Months Ago" and "Cautionary Tales" to get a firmer grip on her voice. Ah, Elle.
I'm still giggling over the Yatta thing. Full of win.
I hope there will be egg breaking soon. In the meantime, I do have some one-shots to play with. It's probably best that I can spend Christmas and New Years without having to worry about the next chapter deadline. But my muse is usually pretty agressive about letting me know I've got work to do, so we'll see :D
