That is brutal, but very well done and even a bit hot for all the wrongness. I especially like the relation of the characters to the way they appear in canon, especially Linderman with his ambiguous kindness. I could definitely see Peter going through this kind of rebelliousness and I have no problem believing any combination of Petrelli-cest.
Arthur comes across as exactly the cold bastard he did in the show, and a back-story like this would explain Peter's reaction to "ressurected" Arthur.
I'd actually love to see more in this "AU" just to see how much Angela knows and is complicit in, and if Nathan is aware of this or if it takes place during his "away" time and if in fact Peter is Nathans replacement.
Anyway, I'm babbling, but it's a compliment, because it's not often that a fanfic makes me want to know more about how it's interpretations would play out in further detail
