What do you want, Sylar? Breakfast, after a long night of sex, Doctor Suresh. World’s greatest dad apron for the win! Now the question is, who does it belong to? I imagine Matt. Maya, do not spoil my reunion, bitch! All of us were thinking it, Sylar just said it.

 

Mohinder’s such a good dad.  He's so scared for poor Molly.

 

“Peter’s alive, Mom.” Great delivery. That look between them, when Nathan looks away and then Angela walks away. Amazing.  And again when she pulls him back and tells him how to kill Adam. And Mama Petrelli, you can’t have Matt kill Peter. NO!  No WAY! NO WAY!

 

Cop-out from that cliffhanger with the running toward Peter with a sword. The keeping time frozen while teleporting around is a use for Hiro’s powers we haven’t quite seen before. Hm. But we still get Hiro to have  Peter’s sword at his throat. Good strategy, Peter, with the shocking. Adam’s “I believe this is mine.” Heh.

 

You know who’s not father of the year? Bob. Aw, my heart is kinda breaking for Elle right now.

 

The Company issues glasses to all its evil employees. Loved those shots with HRG and Bob and the glasses close ups.

 

Hero family? Niki and Micah the crimefighting team?

 

Peter and Adam are badasses. Badasses! They are so COOL! They’re an awesome evil duo.

 

Adam, ew, don’t use Caitlin to motivate him. You know what’s really important to him is Nathan.  That’s why he couldn’t open the big scary door before the commercial.

 

Um, brining Molly on the Evil Mission? Maybe you should have left her at homem Momo. Oh, the symbolism of Isaac’s loft. Mohinder says, “Strip bitch!” And Sylar does, of course.

 

Elle v Sylar? Don’t do it, Elle! I want you to live!

Nathan is a cargo jet!! OH MY GOD! What happens in the air stays in the air. They’ll never speak of it again… But there should be fic of it!

 

Points for Matt for coming clean with Nathan. I’ll handle Peter. Yes you will, Nathan. That scene made me so excited. And then, “Flying man!” Hiro’s cute, although perhaps inappropriately excited. Except maybe he’s just eager for Nathan to help.

 

Claire and West are talking. Bored now.  Oh wait, Mister Muggles is on screen! I’m interested again.

 

Oh, Molly’s going to spill the beans about Alejandro… Oops. Sylar, you’re not very bright, are you? How could you have forgotten she could do that? Or did you never know?

 

Sylar—“Stop ruining my reunion, bitch.” That eye roll was fabulous. And THANK YOU TIM KRING! That was the way I would most have wished for Maya to die. Obviously she’s interfering with the Mylar.

 

Do it for Molly!  Cure Sylar! Then you three can be a happy family. “You and I have trust issues, doctor.” Heh. Yeah.

 

“I have to go back with them.” Oh, hells yeah. HRG is made of win and self-sacrifice! Did he do something to them while he was in the house? He seemed kinda shady with the, "It's done" to Bob afterwards.

 

Oh, Matt. Did you really think that your Jedi mind tricks were going to work? Peter can use all ya’lls powers. You could never defeat him.

 

Brain in the company vault? Interesting...

 

“Am I on the wrong side?” Oh, trust your brother! “I believe in you. I love you.” Petrellicest saves the world TWICE?! YES IT DOES! Except that this time it might be too late… He dropped the virus! Nathan had better not die like Angela said he did in this outbreak. Hells no. No. No. No. No. No. Please, Mr. Kring, don’t do that.

 

Okay, he caught it. Ted’s power is good for something after all. Of course, now Nathan and Matt will never have more children, what with all the radiation making them sterile, but…

 

WHAT?! What was that black absorbing thing? Peter had better not lose his powers/be dying. If he dies, I’m gunna be pissed.

 

Maya’s still alive?! No, god damn it. Screw that shit! Why would Sylar let her do that? And don’t run away Sylar. Things were just getting interesting. I know we’re not sure if you have your powers yet, but you can totally take Elle.

 

Niki’s bad-ass all the way. I like the symbolism with Niki rescuing Monica from a burning building, just like D.L. saving that girl, only without powers. Oops. And dead, apparently. You can’t inject super-blood into a pile of ash to bring someone back, can you?

 

Hiro’s morally grey… Burying someone alive? Cold, man.

 

Elle is really quite nice. She just wants to be loved!

 

“I missed you too.” Yes, we all missed you guys together. They needed to kiss. Nathan’s speech WAS GOING SO WELL UNTIL HE GOT SHOT. Are you kidding? Are you kidding? I am speechless. I’m trying to speculate if they would cliff-hang us with a fake Nathan death twice, and the answer has to be that I don’t think they should, but they’ve made it abundantly clear recently that people can be raised from the dead pretty casually, so… WTF?!

Or, more articulately, I think Kring and Co. have said they want to do new things with the show, and dangling Nathan's death in front of us is something they did last year. I want Nathan to be alive. I will be pissed if he's not. However, I don't see how the show could bring him back and not have it be the cheap kind of, "Oh, we just got some of Claire's blood and everythings okay!" Maybe if Peter makes some sort of deal with Adam? But... Nathan must live somehow!

 

Mama Petrelli’s evil again. Who is she talking to, Bob?

 

Volume Three: Sylar, like Popeye, eats spinach. Also, there had better be Nathan in this volume, or Peter's gonna choke a bitch.

Um... Mama putting the hit out on her own son? WTF?!

My heart pretty much just shriveled into a tiny little craisin at the look on Peter's face while he's holding soverystillalive!Nathan. *ouch*

Haha I thought of Popeye too! Oh and a friend of mine pointed out that it's ironic that Nikki dies in a fire when DL was a fireman..... *inappropriate snicker*

Anyone else NOT sad to see Nikki go (despite her actually being pretty neat and badass without her powers for a minute there...)?

Yeah, when I saw the burning house, I kinda thought it was too much symbolism to pass up. Niki bites the dust. I feel sorry for Micah, but I'm not sad. At all.

The Mylar in this episode was full of win.

Peter! Nathan! Angela! I had started to really like Angela again... I never thought she had it in her to kill Nathan. Peter, maybe, but not her golden boy.

And yes, the look on Peter's face! But he knows Adam's blood can heal him, right? He just has to go find Hiro and find out where he stashed him, get some blood, come on back... HE CAN'T DIE!

Huh. That's a good point - Adam is stashed away! I didn't even think of that. That means he's definitely still available to give blood (heh, odd phrasing), if for some reason Peter's blood doesn't (which I would think it would). Must needs save Nathan. Peter, that is your mission. You have no choice but to accept it.

Or maybe Pete can just kiss Nathan and bring him back to life. Then we get kissing *and* Nathan. Perfect plan.

Oh yeah, and I'm excited Sylar gets his powers back. But that scene where Maya's interupting was just... ::happy sigh:: We've all been waiting for that moment, and I'm a little irked that they brought her back. Why Kring, why?

So... they introduced Maya and Alejandro... just to kill him off and have her serve as a guinea pig? Her character served no bloody purpose other than to get Sylar off the middle of the road! Unless they got something waiting in the wings (and I have no idea what at this point), I'm heartily disappointed in their inclusion.

In other news, Elle learns she has a heart, but will still have daddy issues for decades to come, Claire's going to get her head blown off by Company assassins, Nathan damn near did get his head blown off, and the Heroes storyline has introduced an unfortunate deus ex machina.

Claire's blood (or Adam's, or Peter's) seems to be the magic pill for anything that ails ya, even death. Is Peter just going to bleed on Nathan a little to make him better? (Hey, that reminds of me Rapunzel, you know, her crying on her blind prince to make him see again... which would make Peter a girl... but we already knew that.)

I just had to jump in and comment on the Rapunzel part - amazing. If only Pete's hair was still long, we could go even further...

The magic-cure-all-blood-trope definitely has potential to be cheap, but at the same time, I really want Nathan back. And I can't see how Peter *wouldn't* think to use his own blood, unless, as someone else pointed out somewhere, he's as silly as he was back at Primatech when he didn't just walk through the wall into the room with the virus. Hmm.

But yeah, Peter Rapunzel just made my day, thank you <3

Petrellicest can cure cancer. I mean, seriously, there's nothing the boys can't do together - please don't break them apart forever, Kring, right after this beautiful, long-awaited reunion! While bringing Nathan back to life might be cliche, killing him like this kinda is too. Not fair. *pouts*

And the Popeye reference? I'm glad I'm not the only who noticed! I'm hoping that was intentional, because that was just amazing. And if Kring and co. have a sense of humor like that, they can't be evil enough to take Nathan away, right? Right?

If you're gonna kill a Petrelli, kill Mama Petrelli. Fo sho.

Yeah, Popeye was good! Much of the episode was good, it's just that the end made me... urgh. Petrellicest is the answer to all the word's problems.

I'll add the fic to the list of things to write once Forests wraps up next week. Until then, I'll be doing nothing else... Still, Matt/Nathan... in the air... Heh.
